Bandits Murder Retired Army Sergeant, Wife And Son’s Wife In Kaduna State

  • On Saturday, a deadly attack was carried out in Jema’a Local Government Area (LGA) of the Kaduna state.
  • The crime was committed by Unknown Gunmen suspected to be bandits.

A retired army sergeant, Christopher Madaki, his wife and daughter in law were killed by bandits in Golkofa community, Jama’a Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

The commissioner for internal security and home affairs, Samuel Aruwan, reportedly said that;

“they were killed during an attack in the community on Saturday night. According to the feedback given to us, the assailants stormed the home of Sergeant Christopher Madaki (rtd), a scribe to a Ward Head at Golkofa, Jema’a LGA and shot him, as well as his wife and his son’s wife”.

Clement, Madaki’s son, survived the attack by the bandits, however he was badly wounded and sustained some injuries.

Aruwan added, “the scribe’s wife who was identified as Mary Christopher Madaki and his daughter in law as Alice Musa were later confirmed dead”.

Governor Nasir El-Rufai has condemned the murder in Golkofa community and described it as inhuman and ungodly, as he prays for the repose of their souls.

He charged security agencies to expedite action on the case and secure the community,  EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
