EKO HOT BLOG reports that as individuals and groups continue to criticize Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for allegedly abandoning governance in order to join Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign, the ruling party has come to his defense.
The state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday dismissed the allegation that the governor had failed to fulfill his constitutional obligations as baseless.
Seye Oladejo, a party chieftain, stated that while the party supports many people’s concerns about the need for governance to continue in the state, those making the allegations have a poor understanding of how government works.
He said: “It’s pure mischief to allege that the governor has been the media strategist, anchorman, and campaign manager of the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
