Eko Hot Blog reports that in a move to enhance governance and foster societal progress, the Governor of Bauchi State, Bala Muhammed, has signed six executive bills into law, following their thorough examination and passage by the State House of Assembly.

Wide-Ranging Legislation
The bills encompass diverse sectors, including renaming the state-owned university to Sa’adu Zungur University, Gadau; repealing the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Development Agency 2012 to establish the Bauchi State Primary Healthcare Board; establishing the Bauchi State Farmers/Herders Board; establishing the Bauchi State Rural Access Road Authority (RARA) 2024; and promoting children’s access to education in Bauchi State.
Collaborative Governance
Commending the Assembly’s diligence, Governor Muhammed praised the “harmonious relationship between the legislative and executive branches of government.”
He emphasized the importance of continued collaboration for the state’s socio-economic progress and assured ongoing cooperation with the Assembly for the welfare of the people.
“The proper implementation of these laws will lead to peace, stability, enhanced education, and rural development throughout the state,” the Governor stated, underscoring their significance in fostering societal growth and development.
Legislative Support
Expressing gratitude to the legislators, Governor Muhammed acknowledged their unwavering support and vowed to reciprocate by backing them for sustainable progress and good governance.

“The effective implementation of all laws will significantly impact the lives of the citizens,” affirmed Rt Hon Abubakar Suleiman, Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, urging public support for the current administration.
