Bayelsa Poll: INEC Commences Distribution Of Sensitive Material
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has hinted that it would commence the distribution of sensitive material ahead of the gubernatorial poll in Bayelsa State.
The commission noted that distribution of sensitive election material would commence today(Friday).
The Head of Department, Voter Education and Publicity, Mr Wilfred Ifogah, disclosed this to newsmen in Yenagoa the Bayelsa capital.
He said “The sensitive materials include: ballot boxes, papers, card reader machines, inks among others.”

Meanwhile, the state INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Mr Monday Udoh, called on Inter-party Advisory Council (IPAC) in the state to observe movement of the materials across the state.
He said “The materials are safe and secured at the CBN; IPAC would like to go and observe them.”
