Eko Hot Blog reports that Chief Bayo Osi-Efa, a pioneer member of Epe Club, a premier social club for indigenes of Epe, Lagos State, has passed away.
The Epe Club announced his demise in a statement late Monday.

Chief Osi-Efa, who was also a Member of club’s Board of Trustees (BoT), died on Tuesday, May 27, 2024, after a “brief illness”. He was 87.
He is slated for burial today, May 28, 2024, in Epe, Lagos.
“Inna Lilahi wa Inna Ilahi Rajiun. With total submission to will of Almighty Allah, The President, Board of Trustees (BOT),and the entire Members of Epe Club regret to announce the death of one of the Founding Fathers and a Member of Board of Trustees of the club Chief Bayo Osiefa which occurred on today 27th May 2024 at a ripe age of 87 years after a brief illness,” the statement reads.
“Burial comes up tomorrow 28th May 2024 in Epe.”
Alhaji Osiefa was the Patriarch of the Osi-Efa family of Epe.
Besides being a prominent member of a social club, he had a fulfilling professional career.
