BBNaija Lockdown Reunion Day 1, Major Highlight & Talking Point

  • The first day of the reunion started on an ecstatic note

The Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) reality show reunion for its ‘Lockdown’ edition started on Thursday night and from every indication, it was worth the wait.

Expectedly, the first day of the reunion started on an ecstatic note with the former housemates beaming with smiles as they gathered together again after a while.

EKO HOT BLOG examines key moments from the first day of the reunion.

Erica, Kaisha’s absence

A major highlight from the first day of the reunion was the conspicuous absence of Erica and Kaisha, two ex-housemates from last year’s edition of the show.

During the reunion, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, had hinted that those yet to arrive would join them in due course.

He, however, did not give reason for their absence.

It also remains unclear if Erica would participate in the reunion following her controversial exit from the show after her face-off with Laycon.

The actress cum entrepreneur was one of the most-talked about housemates at the show’s season five due to her relationship with Kiddwaya before her eventual exit.

Ka3na’s bombshell

It was also a night many BBNaija followers expected drama from the former housemates of the show.

But while the first day was relatively peaceful, Kate ‘Ka3na’ Jonesserved the show’s lovers a reminder of what is likely to come in the remaining days of the reunion.

During the reunion, Ka3na shocked her colleagues when she revealed that she was there to iron out things with “few people that deserve my attention” following her exit after just two weeks.

“I left the house after two weeks, so I know a lot of people here have mixed feelings towards me. So, the reason why I’m here is to free my mind, say my truth, and work things out with few people that I think deserve my attention,” she said.

Prince had corroborated her remark, noting that “since may all speak the truth and may it set us free.”
