EKO HOT BLOG reports that Makhosazane Twala, also known as Khosi, has emerged as the winner of the maiden edition of Big Brother Titans, a popular reality show, on Sunday, April 2, 2023. The South African journalist and model won the grand prize of $100,000.
During a press conference, Khosi revealed that she was yet to come to terms with her new status as the winner of the show. She recounted her surprise when some people approached her at her hotel to take pictures with her, saying it’s not something she’s used to.
When asked if she would share the prize money with fellow contestants, Khosi jokingly said she would, and her response was greeted with cheers by the former housemates present at the media parley.
Khosi also opened up about her relationship with fellow South African housemate, Thabang, which was a major talking point during the show. She clarified that their relationship was genuine and that they had deep conversations, although viewers might not have seen it.
Khosi also revealed that she liked another Nigerian housemate, Yemi Cregx, who always lifted her up whenever she was down. She felt bad when he left the show and had to remind herself that she was a strong and independent woman.
“The reality of winning the show has not dawned on me. Just this morning at my hotel, some people were trying to take pictures with me, and it caught me by surprise. It’s not something I’m used to.”
Furthermore, Khosi stated that the show taught her many things about herself. She revealed that some of her greatest weaknesses were being impatient and having a lot of self-doubt, but she had learnt to keep going despite obstacles.
She admitted that it was hard for her to put on a strong face while in the house, but every morning she would get up with a big smile on her face, even though she was struggling inside.
“As for my strength, I always know how to put in a strong face. It was really hard for me, but every morning, I would get up and have a big smile on my face. But deep inside, I was struggling.”
Regarding how she plans to explore her strength outside the house, Khosi said she needs to know that she’s worthy of whatever opportunity she gets, and being crowned by Africa has given her that confidence.
Khosi’s victory in Big Brother Titans has brought her fame and fortune, but it remains to be seen how she will utilize this newfound platform to make a positive impact in society.
