Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, urged the entire members of the State Public Service to rededicate themselves to providing excellent service delivery in line with the demands of the populace and conformity with the high standards of the 21st Century.
The call was contained in his address delivered at the 2019 Long Service Merit Award ceremony, held at Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja.
The governor, who was represented by the SSG Mrs. Sherifat Folashade Jaji said the occasion was an opportunity to acknowledge and recognise those who have dedicated most part of their productive years to the service of the people.
“I congratulate you all and say a big thank you to all of you. This occasion is no doubt a day of reflection and giving gratitude to God for the grace to be alive and recognised for unblemished record of service” Gov. Sanwo-Olu said
He reassured workers that his administration recognizes the need to pay utmost attention to the welfare & capacity development of workers as being crucial to the building of a 21st-century economy.
