Benue Decides: APC Defeats PDP, Wins Polling Units In Govt House

  • APC has defeated PDP in 2 polling units inside Benue state Government house.

  • The two polling units are the Arts theatre polling unit 011 and the Protocol polling unit 022.

  • At the Protocol polling unit 022, APC scored 36 votes while PDP scored 10 votes.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its governorship candidate, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, have won the two polling units in the Benue State Government House in Makurdi.

It is understood that the two polling units are the Arts theatre polling unit 011 and the Protocol polling unit 022.

For the Arts theatre polling unit 011, Alia of the APC polled 130 votes to defeat PDP’s candidate, Engr. Titus Uba, who scored 43 votes.

At the Protocol polling unit 022, APC scored 36 votes while PDP scored 10 votes.

It was earlier reported that the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, and his wife, Eunice Ortom cast their votes on Saturday at their polling units.

The Governor and his wife voted at the Tse Ortom 016, at science Technical School, Gbajimba, Guma Local government Area.

Ortom commended the INEC for the process and hopes it’s replicated across the state.

Recall that Ortom is a member of the five aggrieved governors of the PDP known as the G5 or Integrity group led by the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike who worked against the PDP flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.
