The governor and his wife were set to commence the voting processes at the Tse Ortom 016, at science Technical School, Gbajimba, Guma Local government Area.

It was learnt that Ortom and his wife have cast their votes for the Governorship and State Assembly elections.

Ortom commended the INEC for the process and hopes it’s replicated across the state.

Recall that Ortom is a member of the five aggrieved governors of the PDP known as the G5 or Integrity group led by the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike who worked against the PDP flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.

The G5 had insisted that the PDP national chairman Iyorchia Ayu stepped down as the national chairman of the party for a candidate of southern extraction.
