Benue Govt Seals Oracle Business Limited Over N130m Tax Evasion
The Benue State Government has sealed Oracle Business Limited and its subsidiaries for alleged tax evasion amounting to N130 million over the past five years.
Addressing journalists during the enforcement exercise, the Acting Executive Chairman of the Benue State Board of Internal Revenue, Sunday Odagba, stated that the operation was aimed at recovering unpaid taxes from corporate entities owing the state government.

He dismissed allegations of political persecution raised by Oracle Business Limited’s management, which claimed the tax liability was a scheme to shut down the company EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
The company asserted that the tax debt had been revised to N38 million, which it had already paid.
The company further suggested that its premises were closed due to its ownership by former Governor Samuel Ortom.
