Benue: Hook-Up Girl Seizes Mattress After Man Fails to Pay Her
A young woman identified as Blessing has gone viral in Benue State after an unusual incident in which she seized a man’s mattress as compensation when he refused to pay her for an all-night service.
The event, which quickly spread across social media, has drawn both criticism and public sympathy, eventually leading to a heartwarming outcome, EKO HOT BLOG reports.
According to repoers, Blessing, a mother of two, explained that after spending the night with the man, he claimed he couldn’t afford to pay for her services.
Instead, he gave her the option to take either his home theater system or his mattress as compensation.
By morning, the man had left with the home theater system, leaving only the mattress behind.
Blessing recounted, “When he took me home, after the all-night fun, he said in the morning that he couldn’t pay. He told me to either take his home theater or his mattress.
“By morning, he left with the home theater and told me to take the mattress and sell it if I wanted. So, I picked the mattress and went outside.”
Her decision to take the mattress caught the attention of a neighbor, who inquired about the situation.
It was during this conversation that a bystander captured the scene on camera, posting it online, where it quickly went viral.
In an interview with activist and humanitarian worker, Ukan P. Kurugh, Blessing opened up about how she ended up in the sex trade. “I got into this business after my mum died,” she revealed.
“She passed away while nine months pregnant. Growing up, my father tried to marry me off early, but I refused. After my mum’s death, my father remarried, and the pressure on me increased. I had to run away.”
Blessing later married, but her marriage was short-lived. She added, “I had two children, but my husband abandoned us. With no way to support my kids, I had no choice but to go into this business to feed them and pay their school fees.”
What began as a public embarrassment soon turned into an opportunity for Blessing to rebuild her life.
A philanthropist, Adoo Eugenia Ter, highlighted her plight, drawing the attention of concerned Nigerians, who collectively donated N500,000 to help her start a new business and leave the streets behind.
