Adejoh urged Benue PDP members to give peace a chance to solve the party’s internal political crisis.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a Benue State chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Peter Adejoh, has urged members of the party in the state to unite and give peace a chance to resolve the issues affecting the party in the state.
EDITOR’S PICK:
Adejoh, who is the founder of the Peter Adejoh Foundation, made this appeal in a release he signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja on Thursday.
He described the crisis currently rocking the party as unfortunate, especially at a time when the party is in the process of electing new executives to lead it for the next four years.
Adejoh stated that the issues affecting the party in the state are essentially brotherly disagreements that can easily be resolved if members prioritize the interest of the party over their personal interests.
He called on the leaders of the party in the state, including Chief Samuel Ortom, Senator Gabriel Suswam, Senator Patrick Abba Moro, Rt. Hon. Titus Uba, Sir John Ngbede, and other prominent figures, to close ranks and resolve the disagreements as they have successfully done in the past.
“I call on the leaders of the party in the state to come together and find a solution to the disagreements among members, as they have done in the past,” Adejoh said.
The business mogul reminded the party leaders of the internal dispute resolution mechanism, which has proven effective in resolving disagreements within the party.

“The PDP has a tested and trusted internal dispute resolution mechanism that has been effective whenever there is disagreement among members. The leaders of the party must deploy this mechanism to find a lasting solution to the crisis affecting the Benue State chapter of the party.”
Adejoh also cautioned members against making unguarded utterances that could further deepen the disagreements within the party as it embarks on the rebuilding process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
