Eko hot blog reports that Zone A Voters League (ZAVL), a socio-political group in Benue State, is gearing up to recall Senator Emmanuel Udende due to concerns over insecurity and missing relief funds. Pastor Saater Akaa, speaking on behalf of the group, stated, “We’re initiating the recall process because Udende’s alleged involvement in the security situation and failure to account for ₦200,000,000 meant for constituents is unacceptable.”

The group has formed a consultative committee to oversee the recall process, citing Udende’s alleged complicity in the security challenges in Sankera area. They plan to petition the National Security Adviser to investigate Udende’s involvement, including possible financial support for criminal activities and illegal arms acquisition.
Furthermore, ZAVL criticized Senate President Godswill Akpabio for his comments on Benue’s security issues, demanding a retraction and apology. Akaa emphasized, “Akpabio’s remarks are unacceptable, and playing politics with people’s lives is unjustifiable.”
