Bereline Farm, a leader in agriculture and sustainability, is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to join their team in Imo State. This position is essential for providing administrative support to the Human Resource Manager, ensuring smooth HR operations across various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support: Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Onboarding Coordination: Facilitate new employee onboarding, including preparation of paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and databases, including employee information, attendance records, and performance evaluations, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
- Employee Relations: Assist in maintaining open communication channels, responding to employee inquiries, and resolving issues to promote a positive work environment.
- HR Initiatives: Support HR projects such as employee engagement surveys, training and development programs, and policy updates, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR function.
- HR Reporting: Prepare HR-related reports and documents, including organizational charts, employee handbooks, and compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required. An associate degree in the same fields is preferred.
- Experience: Candidates should have 5 to 10 years of experience, with a background in HR or administrative support being beneficial.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software, strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a high level of attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Location: Applicants must reside in Imo State and be result-oriented.
