EKO HOT BLOG reports that Rt Hon Muktar Betara Aliyu, a leading contender for the Speakership position in Nigeria’s 10th House of Representatives, has sent his good wishes to new Nigerian President and Commander-in-Chief Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Senator Shettima Kashim, and the 28 new state governors of the federation. In a statement he personally signed, Betara expressed his optimism for the future under the leadership of these new figures.
Betara congratulated Tinubu and Shettima, both former governors and senators, on their inauguration and expressed hope that they would bring progress to Nigeria. He also congratulated the newly sworn-in governors and urged Nigerians to give their new leaders maximum support to achieve success in the areas of security, socio-economic revival, unity and development.
The Speakership hopeful pledged to lead a vibrant House of Representatives that aligns with the policies of the two leaders, which include security, unity, development, youth and women empowerment, and national restructuring. He stated, “Without doubt, I believe our nation is heading in the right direction to greater heights. We are assured that new horizons of greatness are ahead of us as a people and a nation.”
Betara urged all Nigerians to come together and embrace the incoming administration to ensure the nation flourishes under the direction of Tinubu, Shettima, and the new governors.
