Biafra: Emeka Rollas Reacts To The Arrest Of Chiwetalu Agu
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, has reacted to the arrest of veteran actor, Chiwetalu Agu for wearing an outfit with a Biafra’s flag inscription.
In a chat with Vanguard, the president condemned Agu’s action, arguing that he should not have worn the outfit.
He added that the Guild is doing everything possible to ensure Chiwetalu Agu is released.
Rollas said, “I don’t know why he put on Biafra regalia. The state is hot. We are in talks with the military officials to ensure he his released. I heard they have taken him to the 82 Division of the Nigeria Military base. We will do our best.”

Chiwetalu Agu was arrested by the military at the Upper Iweka Onitsha, Anambra State for wearing an outfit inscribed with the Biafra flag.
It was gathered that Chiwetalu Agu was in Onitsha on a charity mission where he regularly gifts the less privileged with food items when he was arrested by soldiers.
He was said to have allegedly been taken to 82 Division Enugu after he was dragged on the floor by the military.
