IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu has vowed that ‘his generation’ will achieve the BiafraExit plan which is exit from Nigeria.
Nnamdi Kanu made this vow on his known Twitter handle on Saturday, May 30, 2020 – Biafra Remembrance Day.
Nnamdi Kanu tweeted: “If you say that #Biafrans should move on & commit to #OneNigeria, then show us what our parents GAINED after they moved on in 1970.
They gained NOTHING & lost EVERYTHING from a #FailedState that has turned to a #Zoo. My generation will END this in #BiafraExit.
The exiled IPOB and other pro-Biafra groups observe the Biafra Heroes Day 2020 on a ‘low-key’ due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The Nigerian Civil War, also known as the Biafran War and the Nigerian-Biafran War (6 July 1967 – 15 January 1970), was a war fought between the government of Nigeria and the secessionist state of Biafra.
It is approximated that close to three million people lost their lives as a result of the Nigerian civil war, with most of them dying from diseases and hunger.
Kanu is the latest in a line of ethnic Igbo activists taking up the cause of pushing for an independent state, saying the Igbos have been marginalised by successive Nigerian governments.
