Biden Approves Ukraine’s Use Of Long-Range To Strike Inside Russia
President Joe Biden has authorized Ukraine to use advanced long-range American weapons inside Russia, a senior U.S. official confirmed, as North Korean troops bolster Moscow’s forces on the battlefield.
The approval allows Ukraine to deploy the Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS), a decision that had been debated within the U.S. government for months.

While some officials warned the move could escalate the conflict, others raised concerns about the impact on dwindling U.S. stockpiles. Ultimately, Biden sided with those advocating for increased support to Kyiv amid intensifying pressures on the war front.
The decision coincides with reports of nearly 50,000 Russian troops stationed in Kursk, a southern region bordering Ukraine, in preparation for a renewed offensive.
This buildup follows Ukraine’s summer counteroffensive aimed at reclaiming territory. Thousands of North Korean soldiers have reportedly joined the Russian forces in Kursk, further heightening tensions.
President Biden and his advisers are closely monitoring the situation, particularly the involvement of North Korean troops, which they fear could escalate the conflict into a more dangerous phase.
