Former Vice President Kamala Harris’s communications director, Jamal Simmons, recently suggested that President Joe Biden should consider stepping down to allow Harris to become the first female president.
Speaking on CNN’s State of the Union, Simmons praised Biden’s leadership and proposed that he could fulfill a final promise by resigning, describing him as a “transitional figure” who could pass the role to Harris within 30 days.
