EKO HOT BLOG reports that two senior Manchester United players were allegedly pulled apart during a bust-up that brought a training session to a premature end on Thursday, according to a new report
The Sun, who detailed the alleged altercation, explained that players were reportedly stunned by the incident in the first United training session since their humiliating 4-0 Premier League mauling at Brighton.
Manchester United Interim manager, Ralf Rangnick reportedly saw the alleged disagreement and then granted more time off to United’s players, who are said to have had four days to recover from the dismal defeat at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
Tempers ‘boiled over’ as a result of a dismal of the training season and a disconnect between the players and Rangnick, the report claimed.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the clash – which said the players came to blows -has ‘overblown’ the nature of the alleged bust-up at their Carrington training base ahead of next Sunday’s final match of the season with Crystal Palace.
While the players have not been named, they are reportedly ‘senior’ members of the dressing room, with the bust-up leaving many of their teammates ‘stunned’.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils are set to welcome Erik ten Hag as their new manager, as the 2021-22 campaign finish with a trip to Crystal Palace on the final day of the season.
Ten Hag was this week celebrating a third Eredivisie title win with Ajax, but will soon turn his attentions to the rebuilding job at Old Trafford.
