In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Bigsam, who is the CEO of Bigsam Media and a publicist who has promoted Toyin Abraham, shared insights about their journey together.
Reflecting on Toyin Abraham’s early struggles, he said, “Managing an artist effectively means being their everything—parent, guide, and mentor.
You know you’ve done your job when they feel completely supported and cared for. I remember a particularly proud moment when Toyin bought a house in Ibadan. It was after her marriage that I handed over the document to her husband.
She was unaware of how I financed it, and she was so focused on her career that she didn’t even consider getting a car.
When people comment on her driving a luxury vehicle now, I find it amusing because they don’t know her story. There was a time when we had to meet someone, and I personally bought shaving sticks for Toyin and helped her with personal grooming.
This was part of our commitment to improving her life and facilitating her success. Toyin’s dedication to her career and the changes she embraced made it easier for us to achieve our goals together.”
