Contrary to online rumors, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) denies claims that Bobrisky is housed in a VIP apartment within the Kirikiri correctional facility.

Rotimi Oladokun, spokesperson for the Lagos State Command, stated that Bobrisky shares a cell with other inmates and is not receiving special treatment.

Bobrisky, The Cross-Dresser Sentenced Six-Months for Naira Note Abuse

Oladokun clarified that the correctional facility’s infrastructure does not support exclusive amenities for any individual.

In a released statement, Oladokun emphasized Bobrisky’s entitlement to the same reformative and rehabilitative platforms as other inmates.

Bobrisky, whose legal name is Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, wears male-designated correctional clothing and follows all regulations, including the dress code.

Despite allegations of special treatment, the NCoS asserts that Bobrisky is treated like any other inmate, with no privileges or special amenities.

The Controller of Corrections, Lagos Command, urges the public to disregard the misleading claims.
