EKO HOT BLOG reports that Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, a popular crossdresser, recently shared a video on Instagram, calling on the Oba of Benin to take him as a wife. According to him, he was a queen in Benin.
The crossdresser in a recent viral video announced his arrival in Benin and asked the Oba of Benin, Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, to marry him.
Bobrisky travelled to the Heartbeat of the Nation for an event organised by Ehi Ogbebor, the interior designer.

While in the car with friends conveying him to his destination in Benin, Bobrisky was heard saying: “The queen’s are in Benin. We are here to disturb Benin. This one no be ‘shere shere’ o! We are here to disturb Benin..Oba of Benin, Bob don enter o! Come and marry me, Oba.”
As expected, his post got a lot of negative reactions from people, who felt Bobrisky’s joke on the Oba, showed he was gradually losing it. Many called on him to apologize to the Oba or regret not doing so, while others simply felt he had gone crazy. Their reactions didn’t go unnoticed by Bobrisky though, who was later chased out of Benin, as on Saturday, he released a video, where he issued an apology for his joke, claiming he was just chilling and catching cruise. He never meant the joke, according to him.
A joke taken too far!
Africans are known to be respecters of traditions and traditional kings and this is not an hidden fact. So for Bobrisky to make a careless joke of a monarch, only shows the type of value he places on African tradition.
Yes, he has a right to joke, but joking with someone as highly respected as the Oba of Benin, was a joke taken too far. The Oba of Benin is one of the respected king in Nigeria, and should be left out of any joke not glorifying his throne. Hopefully, Bobrisky learns this and avoid ruining a name he had to change sex, to build.
In another news, EKO HOT BLOG, recalls that Bobrisky is set to open his mega house on the 29th this month. He spent virtually the whole of December announcing the house warming of his new house.
The house warming ceremony is expected to be the talk of town, as asoebi for the day has been on sale since December, last year. With the purchase of the asoebi, comes with expensive gifts from the always beautiful Cross dresser.
