US aviation giant Boeing has announced a $1 million (£812,600) donation to President-elect Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration fund, joining a growing list of major American corporations supporting the event.
Google, Meta, Amazon, and Uber are among the tech firms contributing, while Chevron and leading automakers Ford, General Motors, and Toyota have also confirmed donations.

Trump’s second-term inauguration is scheduled for January 20.
“We are pleased to continue Boeing’s bipartisan tradition of supporting US Presidential Inaugural Committees,” Boeing said, noting similar contributions to the past three presidential inaugurations.
Boeing, which is recovering from a safety crisis and strike-related losses, is also building the next Air Force One jets, set to enter service as early as next year.

The firm renegotiated its contract for the presidential aircraft during Trump’s first term after the former president criticized the initial deal as too expensive.
Google announced its $1 million donation and plans to livestream the inauguration on YouTube while featuring it prominently on its homepage.
“Google is pleased to support the 2025 inauguration,” said Karan Bhatia, the company’s global head of government affairs and public policy.
Energy giant Chevron confirmed its participation, emphasizing its commitment to supporting inaugural committees of both parties. “We are proud to be doing so again this year,” said Bill Turene, Chevron’s global media relations manager.
