Boko Haram Invade Chibok, Set Houses On Fire

Insurgents at 6:00pm invaded Korongilum, a community in Chibok local government area of Borno State, causing violence and havoc.

As they arrived, they began shooting sporadically and setting houses on fire.

Troops from the Nigerian Army’s 28 task force brigade and 117 battalion, both headquartered in Chibok, found their way to Korongilum all led by the brigade and the battalion commanders.

Reports had it that residents were returning home from the farm when the terrorists invaded the village.

The insurgents who came in through Forfor have spiked fear among the people as they had been running for their lives.
