Tinubu Endorses Bisi Akande’s Criticism Of APC Leadership

The All Progressive Congress national leader, Bola Tinubu, says he can not oppose the party’s criticism by ex-Osun state Governor, Bisi Akande.

Bisi Akande had described the ongoing All Progressive Congress registration and revalidation exercise as wasteful.

He also condemned the constitution of a party, the Caretaker, and the Convention Planning Committee.

However, Tinubu on Saturday while speaking with Journalists after revalidating his membership of the APC said he could not fault his ally’s position.

He said;”I will not fault Baba Akande’s position; I will not but endorse it,”

Tinubu said he never heard a situation whereby the party’s register submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was invalidated at the time of APC registration.

However, he noted that the current exercise was a matter of addition and subtraction, free entry and free exit.

“You have joined a particular party; you have decided to leave that party. You have equal opportunity for new members to join and update the existing register of the party”, Tinubu added.
