Bolivia Confirms First Two Coronavirus Cases

Bolivia on Tuesday confirmed its first two cases of the deadly coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Bolivian Health Minister Anibal Cruz at a press conference informed that the two patients are women in the departments of Oruro and Santa Cruz, who came in to the country from Italy,

“They are two women who are 60 and 64 years old, respectively, whose history shows they were present in Italy, a country that currently has coronavirus transmission,” Cruz reportedly said at the conference.

They have, therefore, been quarantined.
