The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Abba Kyari, dies of Coronavirus, Ekohotblog reports.
This online news platform reports that Abba Kyari’s death comes after he was over two weeks ago, tested positive for COVID-19.
The president’s chief of staff had gone on self-isolation late March after testing positive for the disease.
He had subsequently moved to Lagos for treatment he lost the battle on Friday, April 17, 2020.
“May God accept his soul.
“Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly,” Femi Adesina, President Buhari’s spokesman, said in a statement confirming the death.
Abba Kyari was a Nigerian politician who served as the Chief of Staff to Nigeria President -Muhammadu Buhari.
Meanwhile recall Kemi Olunloyo had two weeks stated that a high ranking member of President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet reported died of Coronavirus.
