The abducted students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Benue State, have regained freedom from captivity.
The students, who were kidnapped last Saturday, were said to have been released by their abductors on Tuesday.
The Director, Information, Protocol and Public Relations of the University, Mrs. Rosemary Waku, made the disclosure via a statement on Wednesday.
Waku identified the released students as Israel Farren Kwaghgee and Solomon Salihu.

She, however, did not say if a ransom was paid before the students were released by the kidnappers.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the release of the students was also confirmed by the spokesperson for the Benue State Police Command, DSP Catherine Anene.
It would be recalled that the kidnappers had contacted one of the parents of the students and demanded N20 million ransom.
