UPDATED: Abducted Katsina Students Regain Freedom
The students abducted by bandits at the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State have regained their freedom.
The boys were reportedly released at about 2.20pm on Thursday after spending six nights in captivity.

In corroboration, Personal Assistant on Social Media to the President, Bashir Ahmad also confirmed the students freedom.

The report earlier credited to Chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, was later discredited, saying that her Twitter and Instagram handles were hacked minute’s before the post.
Eko Hot Blog recalls that 100 armed men stormed the school premises last Friday and ferried the students away on motorcycles, forcing others to flee into surrounding forests.
Meanwhile, the Boko Haram terrorist group had earlier released a video of some of boys purportedly abducted from the Katsina school.
