Residents of Ogba in Ifako-Ijaye local government area of Lagos were thrown into palpable apprehension on Tuesday morning after a fuel laden tanker exploded.
The tanker conveyed fuel to a filling station along Ajayi Street off college road before it went up in flames while still parked in the filling station.
The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained. The situation has, however, been brought under control with fire fighters arriving at the scene and puting out.
The incident makes it the fourth explosion and fire outbreak recorded in the state in as many as two months
