Boko Haram insurgents, in the early hours of Sunday, attacked military base in Ajiri village, Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The terrorists were said to have gained access into the military base and dislodged the soldiers.
The latest attack comes barely 12 hours after the Boko Haram insurgents attacked Rann, the Headquarter of Kala Balge Local Government Area and Limankara village of Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State.

Ajiri village is located along Maiduguri- Mafa- Dikwa road with thousands of its people, mostly Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the invasion by the terrorists was confirmed by a senior security source.
The source, however, said the details of the attacks remain sketchy as of the time of writing this report.
