BREAKING: Again, Gunmen Set Police Station Ablaze

• A police station in Bende Local Government of Abia State has been set ablaze by unknown gunmen.
• “We heard series of gunshots, and when we rushed outside, we saw the station on fire,” a resident disclosed.

A police station in Bende Local Government of Abia State has been set ablaze by unknown gunmen.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the assailants stormed the police station in the early hours of Thursday, burnt all the vehicles parked in the station before razing the building.

“We heard series of gunshots, and when we rushed outside, we saw the station on fire,” a resident disclosed.

The latest attack is coming less than six hours after Governor Okezie Ikpeazu left Bende Local Government Area Headquarters where a reception was held for the former House of Representatives member who represented Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnenna Ukeje.
