Ekohotblog reports that Russian Emergencies Ministry on Thursday, confirmed that six people died in An-26 Russian military transport aircraft crash.
This online news source reliably gathered that the plane lost contact some 38 km away from a military airport in the Khabarovsk Region, far east Russia on Wednesday evening.
The source said none of the crew on board the aircraft survived, as debris from the plane was spotted earlier by rescuers near the city of Khabarovsk.
Ekohotblog reports that Regional rescuers were currently approaching the crash site and they had spent several hours, trying to find the location in strong winds.
The flight was on a mission to check ground-based radio technical support.
