BREAKING: Another Inferno Destroy Property In Lagos
Barely a week when an inferno occurred in the popular Balogun market in Lagos, another inferno has just occurred in the state destroying property.
It was gathered that the inforno occurred on Monday morning when a petrol-laden tanker ignited fire resulting to the destruction of property at Abesan Estate, along Ipaja Ayobo area of Lagos.
The incident was reported by residents in the area via Twitter.
According to a victim of the fire @Abiola_Usman lameted that his father’s car had been destroyed in the inferno.
Another twitter user @trafficbutter confirmed the development. Adding that, the inferno has resulted into heavy traffic jam on the Ipaja-Ayobo road.
The traffic update tweet reads “Burnt tanker at honeyland school opposite Abesan Estate gate, the traffic is still heavy as a result of closure of Ipaja road inward Mosalashi, we expect a better movement now since we’ve opened the road.”
It was however, gathered that Lagos State fire fighters had reached the scene of the incident.

A twitter user @benjaminamaechi while narrating the incident said “There is a tanker conveying fuel that caught fire at Abesan/Gate near Honeywell College this morning causing serious traffic jam. Fire fighters are already there. Please be guided in case you are going out. Thanks.”
