EKO HOT BLOG reports that a prominent Political Science don and indigene of Ogbomoso land, Prof Alex Gboyega is dead.

The details of his death is scanty as at the time of filing this report but family source confirm his demise.

Adegboyega, a former Head of Political Science Department, University of Ibadan, was born on September 21, 1946 in Ogbomoso, Oyo state.
His death is coming the same day former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala also died.
Their death also came exactly one month after the demise of the Soun of Ogbomoso Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungnade.
It is also a week after the death of first daughter of the monarch and a former university lecturer Prof Mrs Taibat Danmole.
