BREAKING: Another Reps Member Dumps PDP For APC

  • Another member of the House of Reps has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Another member of the House of Representatives from Zamfara State, Kabiru Amadu, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.

The Speaker of the House, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, read the letter of defection from Amadu at the plenary on Wednesday.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Amadu is the last of the six members from Zamfara State who had earlier declared their defection at the state level along with Governor Bello Matawalle.

Recall that Governor Matawalle had formally announced his defection from the PDP to the APC in Gusau, the state capital, along with members of the federal and state legislatures.

All the 24 members of the state House of Assembly, all the three senators, and six out of the seven members of the House had also announced their defection to the APC.

However, the Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Aliyu Gusau, and a member of the House of Reps representing Anka/Talata-Mafara Federal Constituency, Kabiru Mafara, have remained in the opposition PDP.
