EKO HOT BLOG reports that Senators from the ruling party are currently in a meeting with Adamu Abdullahi, the national chairman of the All Progressive Congress.
A few minutes after two o’clock, Adamu arrived at the National Assembly building and made his way to the office of Senate President Ahmed Lawan for a quick meeting before the general assembly.
The meeting was scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at the venue, Lawan had earlier announced while reading the letter signed by Ajayi Borofice, the Senate Deputy Majority leader.

The number of APC senators has reportedly decreased to 62 as a result of frequent defections from the party’s legislators, particularly those who were unable to obtain return tickets to the chamber.
