BREAKING: Baba Ijesha’s Gofundme Page Deleted

  • A GoFundMe page that was set up to raise money for the legal cost of Baba Ijesha has been deleted.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that GoFundMe, a fund-raising page set up for the embattled actor, Olanrenwaju Omiyinka popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has been removed.

EKO HOT BLOG had earlier reported that the actor who was arrested in April has been charged for alleged sexual harassment of a 14-year-old girl.

A supporter, Oladele Matti, based in Ireland, had initiated a fundraiser tagged, ‘Help Olanrewaju Omiyinka with Legal Costs’ with the aim of raising €50,000.

While giving reasons for starting the GoFundMe account, Oladele Matti said, “Hi, my name is Oladele Matti and I am fundraising for Olanrewaju Omiyinka aka Baba Ijesha Legal Costs. A gesture of support/Goodwill/Solidarity to assist with the legal costs of a complicated and lengthy process that will likely offer the best chance of successfully obtaining fairness and justice.”

EKO HOT BLOG recalls that the move sparked outrage on social media with many wondering why the actor would be given such assistance.
