BREAKING: Bandits Abduct House Of Assembly Speaker’s Father

• Bandits have abducted the father of the State House of Assembly Speaker.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the father of the Speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Muazu Magarya.

It was gathered that the bandits also abducted the Speaker’s stepmother, uncle, and four others during an attack on Magarya in the Zurmi Local Government Area of the Zamfara State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Speaker of the Assembly represents Zurmi East.

Speaking on the incident, the lawmaker representing Zurmi West in the state assembly, Salihu Zurmi, disclosed that the bandits attacked the Zamfara community on Wednesday evening.

“This is the fourth time they are attacking the community, the first one they killed some people while during the second assault they torched residential houses and carted away cows and other domestic animals,” the lawmaker said.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the attack was confirmed by the Zamfara State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Muhammad Shehu, saying the command would soon issue a press release.
