BREAKING: Bandits Kidnap Over 200 Students In Niger

  • Bandits have kidnapped over 200 students in Niger State.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that no fewer than 200 students of an Islamiyya school located at Tegina in the Rafi Local Government Area of Niger State have been abducted by unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits.

The bandits were said to have attacked the community around 4:30pm on Sunday.

It was learnt that a resident of the community was shot dead while another person was critically injured.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the latest attack was confirmed by a resident of the area, Zayyad Mohammed.

The resident disclosed that the Salihu Tanko Islamiyya school where the incident occurred, was built by a retired immigration officer.

Details of the attack remain sketchy as of the time of writing this report.

The police had also yet to make any comments regarding the latest development in the state.
