EKO HOT BLOG reports that unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted some students at Federal Government Girls College, Birnin Yauri, Kebbi State.
It was gathered that the bandits, who rode on motorcycles, stormed the school from neighbouring Rijau forest.
The bandits were said to have overpowered the mobile policemen guarding the school on Thursday.
Security sources disclosed that the bandits abducted no fewer than 30 students and three teachers.

EKO HOT BLOG understands that the latest incident is the third attack on a school in the country in the last three weeks.
It would be recalled that on May 30, over 150 pupils were abducted from an Islamic School in Tegina, Niger State.
Two weeks later, staff and students were abducted by bandits at Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Kaduna State.
