BREAKING: Bayelsa SSG’s Mother Abducted

• Bayelsa SSG’s mother has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

The mother of the Secretary to the Bayelsa State Government, Mrs. Betinah Benson, has been abducted by unknown gunmen, EKO HOT BLOG has gathered.

The unknown gunmen, who were said to have dressed in military uniform, abducted the Bayelsa SSG’s mother on Tuesday night.

EKO HOT BLOG further gathered that Mrs. Benson was kidnapped at her residence in the Old Assembly Quarters, Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the incident was confirmed by the Bayelsa State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinim Butswat, noting that the State Command had launched a manhunt for the rescue of the SSG’s mother and the arrest of the suspects.

He said, “Madam Betinah Benson, aged 80, was kidnapped on 20th of July 2021, at about 2300 hours at her residence at old Legislative Quarters, Azikoro Road, Yenagoa.

“The kidnappers, who were dressed in military camouflage, stormed the residence and kidnapped the victim to an unknown destination,” the police spokesperson stated.
