EKOHOTBLOG reports that Boko Haram insurgents are currently attacking Babbangida, the headquarters of Tarmuwa Local Government Area of Yobe State.
The current attack was disclosed by a resident noting that the insurgents are currently in a gun battle with the soldiers in the area.
The source added that many residents have since scampered into the bush for safety.
“We are currently in the bush running for our lives; I believe you can hear the sound of the gunshots,” the source disclosed.
