Caleb Mutfwang Wins Plateau Guber Race For The PDP

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Caleb Mutfwang, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, has been declared the winner of the gubernatorial election held on Saturday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the announcement on Monday, confirming that Mutfwang had garnered the highest number of votes in the election.

According to the INEC Presiding Officer, Musa Yusuf, Mutfwang defeated his closest rival, Nentawe Yilwatda of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to emerge as the winner of the keenly contested election. Yusuf disclosed that Mutfwang had polled a total of 392,291 votes, while Yilwatda had garnered 290,291 votes.

The announcement of Mutfwang’s victory was greeted with jubilation by his supporters, who had thronged the INEC office in anticipation of the result. The PDP supporters, who had been chanting victory songs, erupted into wild celebrations upon hearing the news.

Reacting to the outcome of the election, Mutfwang expressed his gratitude to the people of Plateau State for their support and for giving him the opportunity to serve them. He pledged to fulfill all his campaign promises and to work tirelessly to move the state forward.
