BREAKING: Chaos in Ikorodu, As Hoodlums Clash
On Sunday, Chaos broke out as some cult members clashed again at Ogolonto roundabout, in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
The hoodlums involved in the chaotic face-off are the Ogolonto Boys and Idiroko Boys. They fought with cutlasses, axes, stones, and bottles.
According to reports, the hoodlums took advantage of the clash to rob unsuspecting members of the public of their valuables.
An eyewitness, by name Bolaji, said the pandemonium had been lingering since Friday and usually happens between 7am to 10am.
According to another eye witness, who identified himself as Adigun, said,
“The hoodlums have been robbing people of their phones and other valuables. They don’t want anybody to record the clash. When commercial drivers get to Ogolonto, they usually disembark passengers from their vehicles and turn back so that their vehicles won’t be destroyed.”
While filing this report, people living in the area and stranded passengers had to hide in peoples houses, shops, and commercial centres to escape being attacked
The roundabout at Ogolonto in Ikorodu is littered with broken bottles.
