BREAKING: Court Favours Ekiti Gov-Elect, Strikes Out Case Suit
The case against Mr. Biodun Oyebanji by an aggrieved aspirants has been struck out
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the case filed by an All Progressives Congress Chieftain, Kayode Ojo, challenging the victory of the Ekiti State Governor-elect, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji at the APC primary election has been struck out.
The presiding judge, Justice Babs Kuewumi said the statement of claim presented before the court was defective.

Earlier, the Governor-elect, Biodun Oyebanji, have urged a Federal High Court in Ado Ekiti to dismiss a suit filed by an aggrieved aspirant, Kayode Ojo, who is challenging his emergence as the party’s candidate at the January 27 governorship primary.

The APC and Mr Oyebanji, who are the first and second defendants in the suit filed by Mr Ojo, maintained that the direct primary held in all the 177 wards in the state were valid and were in compliance with the Nigerian Constitution, the Electoral Act 2010, and the constitution and guidelines of the party.
