Aminu Tambuwal’s Commissioner has defected to APC

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Retired Col. Garba Moyi, the Sokoto State Commissioner for Careers and Security Matters, has defected to the All Progressives Congress from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) (APC).

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), this occurred just 24 hours after Alhaji Salihu Kalanjeni, the chairman of the Tangaza Local Government Council, switched from the PDP to the AP

Kalanjeni defected alongside eight serving councillors and two ex-councillors.

He said Moyi was received into the fold of the APC by its leader in the state, Wamakko.

Abubakar said that the commissioner also announced his resignation from the ruling PDP and the state executive council.
