EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Department of State Security Services has released the former EFCC boss, Abdulrasheed Bawa.
According to Presidential and Security Sources, Bawa was released on Wednesday night.
This news medium gathered that Bawa has spent over 134 days in DSS custody.
It would be recalled that the office of the Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF) had in June disclosed in a statement signed by Willie Bassey, Director of Information, that the ex-EFCC boss’ suspension resulted from “weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him.”
